U.K. Travel Authorization Fee Going Up
Travelers visiting the United Kingdom will soon pay more for the U.K.’s Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
The fee is expected to increase from £16 to £20, which is about $27.
The ETA is required for many travelers who do not need a visa, including visitors from the United States and Canada. It allows multiple trips to the U.K. for up to two years, or until the traveler’s passport expires.
Travelers can apply through the official ETA app or on GOV.UK.
